I cant tell if this is mind numbingly terribad because im absolutely blinded by the joy I had in creating it lol I wanted to show perhaps a sliver of the "demons" I contain for a change of pace.
Aside from some shimmer n powder I didnt put on any skin makeup - leaving my naturally pale skin show you my blue veins beneath the ice. I accentuated them a lil bit in post but they are almost always visible on my temples, wrists and shattering outward from my chest... Something iv never really left in my photos - my face scar. You dont see it unless the lighting is very harsh and I have no makeup on but its here. And its there as a reminder all the physical violence I saw growing up.
You wont hear me bitch about bullies but this is indeed a scar from one of random brawls Id get into growing up looking, thinking, feeling...just being different in an cookie cutter society There came a point where i stopped just taking it and fought back. Both emotionally and physically... I embraced that anger and it fuels me. Cry about how horrible bullies are sure- but I am thankful for it looking back. It molded me and tempered me like steel through flames.
Im slowly trying to carve out more time to pursue the eerie portraits I used to love taking when I was first learning photography & modeling with what.. my nikon d7800?lol Over a decade ago.I love the glamor n nudes but sometimes you gotta make room in what pays the bills for some variety! Thanks to Patreon I can do that these days without going freakin homeless in the process.
